Damudya upazila trust gives scholarships to 64 students
DHAKA, Oct 07, 2018 (BSS) – Damudya Upazila Jubo Kalyan Trust, Dhaka today distributed scholarships among 64 students who got GPA-5 in this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SCC) and equivalent examinations in the upazila.
Shariatpur-3 constituency parliament member Nahim Razzaq, who attended the ceremony as chief guest, gave away the certificates and crests among the successful students at Jatiya Press Club here.
Damudya Upazila Parishad Chairman Alamgir Hossain Majhi, Adviser of the trust Chowdhury Muhibbur Rahman Babu, Shariatpur district unit of Jubo League Relief and Disaster Management Secretary Abdur Rashid Golandaj addressed the function, among others. President of the organization Asaduzzaman Azam presided over the ceremony.
