DHAKA, Dec 15, 2017 (BSS) – Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today expressed deep shock at the death of renowned politician and an organiser of the Liberation War, ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury.
In a message of condolence, the AL general secretary said the people will remember Mohiuddin forever for his contribution to the welfare of the country and its people.
Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, said Mohiuddin’s death is really an irreparable loss in country’s political arena.
He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Mohiuddin Chowdhury, president of Chittagong city Awami League and former mayor of Chittagong City Corporation (CCC), breathed his last at a hospital in the port city in the early hours of today.
