Cameroon security forces kill 3 armed men in anglophone region: official
DOUALA, Oct 7, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – Cameroonian security forces killed three
armed men in one of the country’s troubled anglophone regions on Sunday,
local officials said, as the country held a presidential election against a
backdrop of clashes between separatists and the government.
The suspected separatist fighters were shooting at passersby from a
motorcycle in the town of Bamenda in the northwest region, which has been
rocked by the insurgency and government fightback, said the source. They were
then hunted down and shot by officers.
