3 held with 15,440 yaba tablets in Ctg
CHATTTOGRAM, Oct 7, 2018 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested
three drug peddlers with 15,440 yaba tablets from a residential hotel at the
city’s Station Road under Kotwali Thana on Saturday night.
The arrested youths are M Manik, 32, son of Abdul Quader hailed from
Jhenaidah, M Sohel Hossain, 28, son of Sheikh Farid Uddin and M Faisal Alam,
38, son of Shahid Sardar, both hailed from Louhajang upazila of Munshiganj
district.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid at the hotel and
arrested them with the yaba tablets, said Mimtanur Rahman, assistant director
of RAB-7.
Legal action will be taken against the detainees, he said.
