Ranga stresses children’s education for development

RANGPUR, Oct 06, 2018 (BSS) – State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives
Mashiur Rahman Ranga, MP, has put stress on educating all children and
keeping them away from negative impacts of technology for a smooth national
advancement.

“We should build a properly educated new generation to take the country
ahead on the highway of development to build a middle income nation by 2021
and a developed Bangladesh by 2041,” Ranga said.

The state minister made the observation while addressing a discussion on
the second day of the National Development Fair-2018 at Gangachara Upazila
Parishad auditorium here on Friday afternoon as the chief guest.

On the occasion, he distributed cheques for Taka 68 lakh among 90
beneficiary women of the Rural Employment and Road Maintenance Project-2 of
the Local Government and Engineering Department (LGED).

In order to improve and keep the environment clean allover Gangachara
upazila, Ranga also distributed 5,000 saplings of trees among the people from
all walks of the society and seven dustbins to set up at different places of
the upazila.

Ranga called upon the people to come forward irrespective of their
political affiliations to take the country forward for attaining sustainable
national development to make independence meaningful for every citizen.

“Let us educate our children properly and work from our respective
positions to build a beautiful life for them and change our fortune through
building a middle income nation by 2021 and developed Bangladesh by 2041
under leadership of Prime Minsiter Sheikh Hasina,” he said.

Presided over by Gangachara Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Syed Enamul
Kabir, executive engineer of LGED Akhter Hossain, Upazila Jatiya Party
President Shamsul Alam and Upazila Agriculture Officer Abdullah Al Mamun
addressed the occasion.
