Sherif urges people to vote for ‘Boat’ in next election
PABNA, Oct 5, 2018 (BSS) – Land Minister Shamshur Rahman Sherif, MP,
today urged people to vote for ‘Boat’, the election symbol of Awami League
(AL), in the next general election to continue ongoing pace of development.
“People’s living standard and livelihood have been changed during the
regime of the AL government . . . So all should cast their vote in favour of
‘Boat’ to continue the development trend,” he said while inaugurating the 4th
National Development Fair-2018 on Atghoria upazila premises here, an official
release said.
The three-day National Development Fair is being held across the country
as part of the countrywide programme.
A total of 60 stalls have been set up at the development fair held on
Atghoria upazila premises.
Sherif urged all to work unitedly to strengthen the hands of Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina to build a developed country.
Referring to 10 special initiatives of PM Sheikh Hasina, the land
minister said, “The 10 initiatives have made significant contribution to the
country’s development.”
He hoped that Bangladesh would become a developed country under the
dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
General Secretary of Atghoria thana unit of AL Abdul Gafur, Atghoria
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Akram Ali, officials and representatives of local
government, among others, were present at the function.
