Water levels of 9 rivers rise, 79 fall

DHAKA, Oct 5, 2018 (BSS) – Water levels in nine river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rises and 79 stations recorded falls.

Among the 94 monitored water level stations, one station has been registered steady, a bulletin issued by FFWC said here today.

All the major rivers are flowing below their respective danger levels.

The Brahmaputra-Jamuna, Ganges-Padma and the rivers of Upper Meghna basin are in falling trend which may continue in next 72 hours.
