Martyred Intellectuals Day observed in Meherpur
MEHERPUR, Dec 14, 2017 (BSS) – The Martyred Intellectual Day 2017 was observed in the district town today.
On the occasion a discussion meeting was held at the Conference Room of district administration morning.
Deputy Commissioner Parimal Singh presided over the meeting while Zilla Parishad chairman Golam Rasul, ex Member of Parliament Joynal Abedin, general secretary of district Awami League MA Khalek, Mayor of Gangni municipality Ashraful Isalm, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sheikh Farid Ahmed and Additional Police Super Abdullah Al Mahmud spoke among others.
A one- minute of silence was observed before the discussion in the memory of the martyred intellectuals.
