All political parties hopefully to participate in next polls
BHOLA, Oct 4, 2018 (BSS) – Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed today said all
the political parties are expected to participate in the next general
elections.
“We hope that all the political parties will participate in the next
general elections…if any particular party will not participate in the
polls, it will be their own matter,” the minister said this as the chief
guest while inaugurating the 4th National Development Fair-2018 on Bhola
Government School premises here.
He said the next general election will be held as per the constitution
and it would be within the schedule time frame announced by the Election
Commission (EC).
Ruling out the seven-point demand designed by the BNP, the commerce
minister said BNP’s seven-point demand and the programme designed by the
Juktofront are totally against the constitution.
Food Secretary spoke as the special guest while Deputy Commissioner of
Bhola M Masud Alam Siddiqui chaired the function.
Earlier, a colourful rally was brought out on the occasion. A total of
110 stalls participated in the fair.
