LAKSHMIPUR, Oct 4, 2018 (BSS) – Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister AKM
Shahjahan Kamal today said Bangladesh is moving towards the development of
highways under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
“Bangladesh has been lauded globally for its outstanding achievements in
areas of development,” he told a discussion titled “Development philosophy of
Bangladesh: Today’s Bangladesh” at the National Development Fair on premises
of collectorate office of the district, an official release said.
Lakshimipur District Administration organized the Fourth National
Development fair as part of the countrywide programme.
The next general election will be held as per constitution, Shahjahan said
adding, the evil forces are conspiring to foil the upcoming parliamentary
polls.
He urged the people of the country to remain alert for resisting any
conspiracy of the anti-liberation forces to continue ongoing development
process in the country.
Secretary of ICT Division Zuyena Aziz, Representatives of local
administration and official concerned, among others, addressed the discussion
with Deputy Commissioner Anjan Chandra Pal in the chair.
