Hong Kong stocks suffer more steep losses
HONG KONG, Oct 4, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – Hong Kong stocks tumbled again Thursday
with traders hit by concerns about the likelihood of an extended series of US
interest rate hikes that will lead to tighter borrowing costs in the city.
The Hang Seng Index sank 1.78 percent, or 483.15 points, to 26,608.11.
Mainland Chinese markets remained closed for a public holiday.
