India 133-1 against West indies in first Test
RAJKOT, India, Oct 4, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – Debutant opener Prithvi Shaw was
batting on 75 as India reached 133-1 at lunch on the opening day of the first
Test against West Indies in Rajkot on Thursday.
The 18-year-old Shaw put on an unbeaten 130-run second wicket partnership
with Cheteshwar Pujara, on 56, after India lost an early wicket while
electing to bat first.
Fast bowler Shannon Gabriel trapped Lokesh Rahul lbw for nought in the
first over of the day, but it turned out to be the only wicket of the morning
session.
