RANGPUR, Sept 02, 2018 (BSS) – The 38th anniversary of the Raising Day of 29
Battalion of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) was celebrated at its battalion
headquarters in Fulbari upazila town of Dinajpur today.
The celebration began through a cake-cutting ceremony followed by
hosting a stylish luncheon at noon for officials, junior officials and
soldiers of other ranks of BGB, invited guests and local journalists.
Member of the Parliament (MP) form Dinajpur-6 constituency Md Shibli
Sadique attended the celebration function and luncheon as the chief guest
with Commanding officer of Fulbari 29 BGB battalion Lieutenant SM Rezaur
Rahman in the chair.
Dinajpur Sector Commander of BGB Colonel Sohrab Hossain was present as
the special guest.
Deputy Commander of 29 BGB Battalion Major Abu Nayeem Khondker, Deputy
Commander of 42 BGB Battalion Major Shahidullah, Dinajpur Company Commander
of RAB-13 Major Sohel Rana, Birampur municipal mayor Liyakat Sarker Tutul,
Proprietor of tourist spot ‘Swapnopuri’ Alhaj Delwar Hossain, among others,
were present.
In his speech, Shibli Sadique, MP, congratulated the Commanding Officer,
Deputy Commanding Officer, officials, soldiers and all other members of
Fulbari 29 BGB Battalion on the auspicious day.
