Asia Pacific President of IAPP calls on Speaker
DHAKA, Oct 2, 2018 (BSS) – Asia Pacific President of International
Association of Parliamentarians for Peace (IAPP) Eknath Dalkan made a
courtesy call on Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at
her office here today.
During the meeting, they discussed various issues including climate change,
sustainable development goals (SDGs) and good governance, said a press
release.
Eknath briefed the Speaker about the upcoming ‘Asia Pacific Summit-2018,
Nepal’ which will start on November 30 and continue till December 2 at
Kathmandu, organised by IAPP.
Dr Chaudhury praised the initiative, the release added.
