CPC accords reception to distinguished persons in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Sept 30, 2018 (BSS) – Chattogram Press Club (CPC) today
accorded reception to five proficient journalists and three talented
personalities for their outstanding contributions to respective fields.
Presided over by CPC President Kolim Sarwar the function was addressed
by Vice Chancellor of Premier University Dr Anupom Sen as the chief guest.
Held at Bangabandhu conference hall of CPC this evening the function
was conducted by CPC secretary Suklal Das.
Editor of the Daily Azadi M A Malek also addressed the function as
special guest.
The distinguished persons who were accorded reception are valiant
freedom Fighter and researcher Dr Mahfuzur Rahman, educationist Professor
Hasina Jakaria Bela and lion Kamrun Malek while the prominent journalists are
Moazzamul Hoque, Swapan Dotto, Biswajit Chowdhury, Nurul Amin and AKM
Johourul Islam.
Speaking at the function the nationally reputed social scientist
Professor Dr Anupom Sen said CPC has done praiseworthy works to honour eight
distinguished persons of the society.
