ARREST-C’NAWABGANJ
One held with arms, ammonium in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, September 30, 2018 (BSS): Members of Rapid Action
Battalion (RAB)-5 arrested an alleged arms peddler with three pistols, two
magazines and 11 bullets from Kansat under Shibganj upazila in
Chapainawabganj district this afternoon.
The arrested person is Manik, 30, son of Alam of Jamilnagar in Bogura
district.
RAB said acting on a tip off an operation team of RAB from
Chapainawabganj camp raided Kansat area at around 4-30 pm and arrested Manik
with the arms and ammunition.
Later the arrested person was handed over to the police of Shibganj thana
with a case.
