JU admission test begins
SAVAR, Sept 30, 2018 (BSS) – The admission tests for the first-year honors
courses under 2018-19 academic session of Jahangirnagar University (JU) began
today with A unit test under Mathematical and Physical Sciences faculty.
The examinations started at 9 am that was continued till 4 pm in five
shifts in the first day.
Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Farzana Islam visited different examination
halls around 10 am.
She expressed satisfaction about the atmosphere of the admission test and
urged all teachers, officials and employees to conduct the tests fairly.
JU Pro-VC (Academic) Prof Nurul Alam, Pro-VC (Administration) Prof Md Amir
Hussain, Treasurer Prof Sheikh Md Monzurul Huq and Registrar (Acting) Rahima
Kaniz accompanied the VC.
A total of 143 candidates are vying for each seat in A unit test under
Mathematical and Physical Sciences faculty, where 62,215 students have
applied for 435 seats only.
Information regarding the seat plans and results will be available on the
university website www.ju-admission.org.
The admission tests will continue till October 10.
