AL arranges exceptional ‘Youth Fair for Boat’ in Haripur

RANGPUR, Sept 30, 2018 (BSS) – Amgaon Union Awami League (AL) organised an exceptional ‘Youth Fair for Boat’ on Jadurani Girls’ High School ground in Haripur upazila of Thakurgaon on Saturday.

The organisers arranged the fair to discuss the massive developments conducted by the AL-led government in every sector in last ten years to inspire the youths in voting for ‘Boat’ in the next elections.

Presided over by Acting President of Amgaon union AL Alhaj Hafizur Rahman, Organising Secretary of Thakurgaon District AL Advocate Mostaq Alam Tulu addressed the function as chief guest.

General Secretary of Haripur upazila AL Ziaul Hasan Mukul, its Joint General Secretary Mohammad Jahangir, Organising Secretary Advocate Mozaffar Ahmed Manik and Information and Research Affairs Secretary Abdul Kaiyum Puspo, among others, spoke.

Hafizur Rahman discussed successes achieved by the AL government in education, health, women development, agriculture, infrastructure, social safety-net programmes, digitisation, power generation and all other sectors in last ten years.

He discussed positive impacts of implementation of the PM’s ten special initiatives, successes achieved in preventing child marriage, terrorism and militancy and ensuring health services and sanitation, vaccination of babies and hygiene of adolescents.

Mukul discussed successful implementation of massive programmes like distribution of education assistance and preservation of reserved seats in the parliament for women speeding up women empowerment.

“Following implementation of massive pragmatic steps, participation of women in politics, economic activities, administration and every sphere increased in past ten years,” Mukul added.

Puspo said Bangladesh has entered the space arena by launching Bangabandhu Satellite bringing a rare national pride and graduated from the status of least developed countries by attaining criteria to become a developing nation by 2024.

Participating youths Ibrahim Ali and Solaiman Ali in the fair said they did not know about so much development in last ten years in Bangladesh and hoped continuation of advancement of the country in future.

Participating youths Ariful and Aklima said they could learn about massive developments those have taken place improving livelihoods and life standard of the common people in last ten years.

“I feel proud of taking part in the fair where I could know about enormous developments of the AL government in the agriculture, education, infrastructure, communication, health, poverty alleviation and all other sectors,” said youth Mamtaz Uddin.

Awami League leader Advocate Mostaq Alam Tulu said that the youths should know what the Awami League government really did to the country’s development for welfare of the common people in last ten years.

“The AL government has made extensive developments in all sectors including education, electricity, agriculture, food, communications and all other sectors of Bangladesh,” he said.

He called upon the youths to highlight development messages of the AL government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the public to encourage the common people and youths to vote for the ‘Boat’ symbol.

“If this the young society is with AL, the symbol ‘Boat’ will win the next polls to bring AL again to power for building a middle income nation by 2021 and developed Bangladesh by 2041,” he said.
