Body of missing businessman recovered
CHATTOGRAM, Sept 27, 2018 (BSS)-Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP)
recovered the body of a businessman, who went missing on September
17 from Boba Colony of Newmooring area under CEPZ thana , in the early hours of today.
The victim was identified as Syed Hossain, 42, a resident Gosail Danga area in the city.
Osman Goni, officer-in-charge (Investigation) of CEPZ thana said the
victim had lend around Taka one crore to his business partners
Arman Kabir and Erfan Kabir.
Erfan Kabir invited the victim on September 17 to a house at Boba
Colony saying that they will return Taka three lakh. Sayed went there but
since then he remained missing, Osman added.
Victim’s wife Farida Akter lodged an abduction case with CEPZ thana
against them on the following day.
Following their confessional statement, police dug up the soil beside the
aforesaid house and recovered the body ,OC Osman added.
