CJ to hold courtesy meet with Judges, lawyers on Oct 1
DHAKA, Sept 25, 2018 (BSS) – Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain will hold a
courtesy meeting with the judges of the Supreme Court, Attorney General,
leaders of Supreme Court Bar Counsel and lawyers after the end of ongoing
vacation on October 1.
Supreme Court authority in an official release signed by its Registrar
General Dr Md Zakir Hossain urged all the people concerned to be present at
the programme to be held from 10.30 am to 1 pm on the lawn inside the court
building on that day.
The Supreme Court will resume its regular activities from October 1 after
around one and a half month long vacation.
The apex court went into recess on August 16, leaving the vacation benches
of High Court and court of Chamber Judge of the Appellate Division to deal
with the urgent matters.
