3 family members killed, 4 injured in Vietnam
HANOI, Sept. 25, 2018 (BSS/XINHUA) — Three members of a family in
Vietnam’s northern Thai Nguyen province were stabbed to death on Tuesday
early morning, while four others living nearby were severely injured, the
provincial police said.
The three dead people included Nguyen Van Hoat, 42, his 13-year-old son and
his 49-year-old sister-in-law. Hoat’s elder brother aged 51 was seriously
wounded.
Local police on Tuesday arrested a 56-year-old man, who lives near the
victims’ houses in the rural district of Phu Binh, on the charge of murder.
The provincial police said the suspect has shown signs of mental illness,
according to local online newspaper Thanh Nien (Young People).
