2 held with 393 NPS drug at Uttara
DHAKA, Sept 20, 2018 (BSS) – Police arrested two suspected drug peddlers along with 393 kilograms of NPS (New Psychotropic Substances) drug worth about Taka 50 lakh from city’s Uttara area.
“We arrested two persons — Nazmul Islam Talukder and Mahbubur Rahman Palash — along with 34 cartons containing 393 kilograms of NPS drug from a warehouse at house no 10, road-1, sector-14 at Uttara around 7am today,” officer-in-charge (OC) Md Ali Hossain of Uttara Pashchim Police Station told BSS.
The arrested were sent to the court seeking seven-day remand in a case filed to this end, he also said.
