School Handball tournament begins tomorrow
DHAKA, Sept 19, 2018 (BSS)-The Polar Ice Cream 25th School Handball
tournament (boys &girls) begins tomorrow (Thursday) at Shaheed Captain M
Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in the city.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr. Biren Sikder MP is expected to
inaugurate the meet as the chief guest.
Dhaka Ice cream Industries chief executive officer Shah Masud Imam will
present as the special guest. A total of 36 metropolis schools including 20
of boys’ and 16 of girls’ will take in the meet, sponsored by Dhaka Ice cream
Industries and organised by Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF).
Sponsor Dhaka Ice cream Industries has provided the entire budget of Taka
6,10,500 for boys’ section and 5,77,600 for girls section to run the meet.
