DHAKA, Sept 17, 2018 (BSS) – The admission test results of “Ga Unit” for
Business Studies Faculty disciplines under the 2018-19 academic session in
Dhaka University (DU) was published today as 10.98 percent students secured
pass marks.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman announced the result
at central admission office (Room NO 214) in the administrative building of
the university.
A total of 2,850 students passed the examination which accounts for
10.98% of the total aspirants. This year, 25,958 admission seekers took part
in the admission test for 1,250 seats, the VC said, adding that the highest
score was 184.40 out of 200.
The results will be available at the university website
www.admission.eis.du.ac.bd or the students can get the results using short
message service (SMS) of any mobile operator.
For SMS notification of the result, the aspirants will have to type “DU
GA roll number” and send it to 16321.
The passed students, having from 1 to 1275 on merit list, can have to
fill up and submit the “choice form” using the Du website within September 19
to October 1.
The one-hour long Multiple Choice questions (MCQ) based entry test was
held at 54 exam centres on Friday.
A total of 26,960 students applied for the Ga unit but 1,005 students
were absent on the admission test day. A total of 23,002 students failed to
obtain the minimum pass mark of 48 in the test.
