DMP files 4872 cases for traffic rule violation
DHAKA, Sept 15, 2018 (BSS) – Traffic division of the Dhaka Metropolitan
Police (DMP) in their simultaneous drives on the city streets on Friday filed
4872 cases against different modes of vehicles for traffic rule violation.
It also realized around 33 lakh as fine for traffic rule violation, said
an official release.
Of the total cases, 346 cases were lodged for driving on wrong sides, 70
for using hydraulic horn, nine for using hotter and beckon light and 15
others for using tinted glass.
Police filed 1882 cases against motorcycles and seized 70 others for
violation of the traffic rules.
Traffic police has dumped 38 vehicles and wrecked 605 others.
