DHAKA, Sept 13, 2018 (BSS) – Food Minister Advocate Qamrul Islam today said next general election must be held in a free, fair and impartial manner in the country.
“We want an inclusive election through participation of all political parties for flourishing democracy,” he told a meeting on the ground of Batoli Siraj Uddin High School in Keraniganj upazila of the district.
Qamrul said the BNP-Jamaat alliance is conspiring to destabilize stable situation in the country foil the next general polls. But their attempt (BNP-Jamaat alliance) would not be successful as the people of the country will resist any conspiracy, he added.
The minister warned the BNP-Jamaat alliance to refrain from any conspiracy to foil the next national election.
He called upon the people of the country to cast their votes in favour of the Awami League government to continue the ongoing development process.
