Ismat urges govt officials to work with honesty
DHAKA, Sept 12, 2018 (BSS) – State Minister for Public Administration
Ismat Ara Sadique today said government officials should serve the people
with honesty, efficiency, devotion and sincerity to achieve the Vision 2021
and Vision 2041.
The State Minister made the call while addressing as the chief guest a
seminar titled ‘Strengthening the Government (2nd phase) by Increasing the
Capacities of BCS(Bangladesh Civil Service) Cadre Officers’ at BIAM
auditorium in the city.
“The incumbent people-friendly government is working relentlessly to
meet the expectations of the common people… Government officials should
serve the people with utmost honesty and sincerity for sustainable
development of the country to achieve Vision 2021 and Vision 2041,” Ismat
said.
Officials who were imparted trainings on different aspects relating to
public administration abroad participated in the seminar with Public
Administration Secretary Fayez Ahmed in the chair.
She said the pattern of public administration work has changed with the
passage of time. So officials of the sector should give priority to the
expectation of common people.
She also made an announcement that necessary measures have been taken to
provide government officials with quality training in the country as well as
abroad so that they can become skilled workforce in tackling the challenges
of the modern world.
