European stocks mostly firm at open
LONDON, Sept 11, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – Europe’s stock markets mostly rose in
opening trade on Tuesday, with Frankfurt and Paris climbing, though London
lost ground.
In initial deals, the British capital’s benchmark FTSE 100 index of major
blue-chip companies was down 0.1 percent at 7,269.34 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX 30 added 0.2 percent to 12,013.01 points
and the Paris CAC 40 rose 0.3 percent to 5,284.24 compared with the closing
levels on Monday.
