DHAKA, Sept 9, 2018 (BSS) – The National Moon Sighting Committee will
hold a meeting tomorrow to review the news of the moon sighting of the holy
Muharram, 1440 Hijri, and fix the date of the holy Asura.
The meeting will be held in the conference room of the Islamic Foundation
at Baitul Mukarram with State Minister for Religious Affairs Principal Matiur
Rahman in the chair, an official release said.
The committee requested people to inform the news over fax and telephone
if the moon of the holy month is seen by anybody from any place of the
country.
