Online weekly news portal ‘Samvobona’ inaugurated
DHAKA, Sept 07, 2018 (BSS) – Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid today inaugurated online weekly news portal “Samvobona” from Bianibazar in Sylhet.
The inaugural function of the news portal was held at the International Mother Language Institute (IMLI) here, an official release said.
Acting Editor of the Daily Samakal Mustafiz Shafi, Chief Engineer of the Department of Education Engineering Dewan Mohammad Hanjala, journalists and officials, among others, addressed the function.
Speaking on the occasion, Nahid hoped the news portal “Samvobona” will project different success stories of development, which would supplement the efforts of the government for building “Digital Bangladesh”.
Wishing the journey of the news portal a success, he said it (the news portal) would contribute to flourishing objective journalism in the country.
