BHOLA, Sept 6, 2018 (BSS)- A total of 511 homeless families will get new houses in Sadar upazila of Bhola as gifts of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
“The houses are being built in 13 unions of the district through the Prime Minister’s Office for providing accommodation to 511 homeless families,” Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Kamal Hossain told BSS.
“Every house with concrete floor is being built at a cost of Tk one lakh.
There will also have sanitary latrines,” he said.
Kamal said the list of homeless families has been prepared by local public representatives while about 50 percent of the construction works have been completed.
