Tk 1.60 crore foreign medicines seized at Shahjalal airport
DHAKA, Sept 4, 2018 (BSS) – Customs intelligence personnel on Monday
night seized a huge quantity of contraband foreign medicines worth about Taka
1.60 crore from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital.
“We have seized 16 kinds of contraband foreign medicines from eight no
luggage belt area of the Shahjalal airport around 8 pm on Monday,” Director
General (DG) of customs intelligence D M Sahidul Islam told BSS today.
Legal action was taken to this end.
