Condolences pour in for Rama Chowdhury
DHAKA, Sept 3, 2018 (BSS) – Condolences continue to pour in for Rama
Chowdhury, an eminent writer and a Birangana of Liberation War, who breathed
her last at Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) early today at the age
of 79.
Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Khandker
Mosharraf Hossain, Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon, State Minister
for Public Administration Ismat Ara Sadique and Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal
(BSD) General Secretary Comrade Khalequzzaman expressed shock at the death of
Rama Chowdhury.
In separate condolence messages, they recalled the contributions of Rama
Chowdhury to the country’s Liberation War, saying the nation would always
remember her contributions with respect.
They prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to
the bereaved family.
