Newly elected Pirojpur Zila Parishad member takes oath
DHAKA, Sept 3, 2018 (BSS) – Newly elected member of Pirojpur Zila
Parishad Nasir Uddin Hawlader took oath at a function today.
Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Khandker
Mosharraf Hossain administered the oath at the LGRD ministry here, an
official release said.
Senior Secretary of the Local Government Division (LGD) Dr Jafar Ahmed
Khan conducted the oath taking ceremony while LGD Additional Secretary Md
Aminul Islam Khan was present.
Earlier, a total of 1,169 elected members of 61 Zila Parishads (district
councils) under eight divisions took oath on January 18 this year.
