Speaker condoles death of Rama Chowdhury
DHAKA, Sept 3, 2018 (BSS) – Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin
Chaudhury today expressed profound shock at the death of Rama Chowdhury, an
eminent writer and Liberation War heroine.
In a condolence message, the speaker prayed for eternal peace of the
departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Besides, JS Deputy Speaker Md Fazle Rabbi Miah and Chief Whip ASM Feroz
also expressed profound shock at her death.
Rama Chowdhury breathed her last at Chattogram Medical College Hospital
(CMCH) while undergoing treatment there early today at the age of 79.
