European stock markets diverge at open
LONDON, Sept 3, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – Europe’s leading stock markets opened the
week mixed on Monday, with London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index rising 0.3
percent to 7,456.59 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX 30 index dropped 0.2 percent to 12,338.36
points and the CAC 40 in Paris dipped 0.1 percent to 5,400.70, compared with
the closing levels on Friday.
