ARREST-HABIGANJ
14 held in Habiganj
HABIGANJ, Sept 3, 2018 (BSS) – Police arrested 14 persons including three
drug traders, seven wanted accused and four accused in regular cases from
different areas of the district in last 12-hour ending at 9am this morning.
Police also seized 6-kg of Ganja and 55 pieces of Yaba tablets during the
drives.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl.SP) A S M Shamsur Rahman Bhuiyan
said, they were picked up from different areas of the district on different
charges.
Several cases, including charges of subversive activities, are pending with
different police stations against the arrested persons, the sources added.
The arrested were sent to jail.
