DHAKA, Aug 30, 2018 (BSS) – Food Minister Advocate Quamrul Islam today urged cross section of people to be united for preventing all types of conspiracies devised by the BNP-Jamaat.
“The BNP-Jamaat is involved in conspiracy to thwart the next election, so we have to be united to resist their conspiracy,” said the food minister as the chief guest while addressing a discussion marking the National Mourning Day on Kalatia Degree College premises in Keraniganj.
He said: “We have no way to attain victory for the great interest of the country as well as for the democracy.”
Chaired by joint convener of Election programme administering coordinating committee of parliament member of Dhaka-2 constituency, the programme was also addressed, among others, by Jatiya Party Presidium Member Ejaj Ahmed Mukta, publisher of a Monthly Journal ‘Oisyarjo’ Jamal Naser Mukul, former secretary general of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) Abdul Jalil Bhuiyan.
Food Minister said the killers of 71 murdered Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman along with his family to achieve their vested interest.
The distortion of Bangladesh’s history begun through the killing of Bangabandhu, he added.
