BPSA to honour SAFF championship heroes
DHAKA, Aug 30, 2018 (BSS)- The Bangladesh Sports Press Association (BSPA), the oldest sports organization of the country, has decided to honour the football starts of 2003 SAFF Championship winners through a formal ceremony to be held at a city hotel tomorrow.
The 2003 SAFF football heroes, who brought the extraordinary success for the country against Maldives, created the history by winning the maiden SAFF title fifteen years ago.
The BSPA also decided to make a good wish to Bangladesh national footballers through this occasion participating in the SAFF Championship-2018 scheduled to begin on September 4 in Dhaka.
Apart from hosts Bangladesh, India, Bhutan, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka national football team will take part in the championship.
