No discussion with killers: Nasim

DHAKA, Aug 29, 2018 (BSS) – Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim today said no dialogue can be held with people those burnt innocent people to death.

“No dialogue can be held with BNP, a party which patronized people who opposed War of Liberation, killed Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman along with most of his family members in 1975,” Nasim, also an Awami League Presidium Member, said.

He came up with the observations while addressing a discussion marking National Mourning Day at National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital (NINH) in the capital.

Organized by NINH unit of Swadhinota Chikitshok Parishad (Swachip), the discussion was presided over unit president Dr MF Jahurul Haque Chowdhury, NINH director Prof Dr Dwin Mohammed, Swachip president Dr M Iqbal Arslan, secretary general Dr MA Aziz, and Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital director Prof Dr Uttam Kumar Barua, among others.

Nasim said there is no other option for BNP but to join next general election, adding people will oust the BNP-Jamaat alliance from country’s political arena by casting their ballots against them.
