Two motorcyclists die in Narsingdi
Narsingdi, Aug 29, 2018 (BSS) – Two motorcyclists were killed as a bus
knocked down a bike on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway near BSCIC industrial area of
Shibpur upazila here today.
The deceased were identified as Mehadi Hasan, 22, son of Allauddin and
Roman Miah, 26, son of late Kafiluddin Miah.
Both were the inhabitants of Khirati village under Kapashia upazila of
Gazipur district.
Police said the accident took place at about 11am when a Sylhet-bound
Ena paribahan bus overtaking another bus hit the motorcycle, leaving two
motorcyclists critically injured.
They were rushed in Narsingdi General Hospital where they succumbed to
injuries.
Officer-In-Charge of Shibpur Model police station Abul Kalam Azad said
the bodies were sent to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsies.
