Two killed three injured in Narsingdi road accident
Narsingdi, Aug 28, 2018 (BSS) – Two persons were killed and three others
injured in a head on collision between a bus and a Pick-up van at Pantchduna
bazar on Dhaka Sylhet Highway in Narsingdi Sadar upazila today morning.
The dead were identified as driver of Pick-up van Rafiqul Islam (30) and
vegetables trader Akash (35).
Police said the accident occurred at about 6-30am when a Dhaka bound New
line paribahan from Sylhet collided head-on with a Narsingdi bound vegetables
carrying Pick-up van from Dhaka, leaving two persons dead on the spot and
three others injured.
The injured (vegetables traders) were sent to Narsingdi Zilla Hospital.
Police seized the bus and pick-up van but driver of the bus managed to
escape.
A case was filed with Madhobdi police station in the connection.
