30 held in Habiganj
HABIGANJ, Aug 28, 2018 (BSS) – Police arrested 30 persons including four
drug traders, 21 wanted accused and five accused in regular cases from
different areas of the district in last 12-hour ending at 9am this morning.
Police also seized 375 bottles of Phensidyl and 2.750 kgs of Ganja during
the drives.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl.SP) A S M Shamsur Rahman Bhuiyan
said, they were picked up from different areas of the district on different
charges.
Several cases, including charges of subversive activities, are pending with
different police stations against the arrested persons, the sources added.
The arrested were sent to jail.
