DMP realizes Tk 27 lakh for traffic rule violation
DHAKA, Aug 27, 2018 (BSS) -Traffic division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in their simultaneous drives on the city streets on Sunday realized around Taka 27.55 lakh from different modes of vehicles for traffic rule violation.
It also lodged 2674 cases for traffic rule violation, said an official release of DMP.
Of the total cases, 191 cases were lodged for driving on wrong sides, 32 for using hydraulic horn, four for using hooter and beckon light and eight others for using tinted glass.
Besides, 933 cases were filed against motorcycles and 42 motorbikes were seized for the traffic rule violations.
It also dumped 28 vehicles and wrecked 433 others.
