2 held with 20,000 yaba tablets at Jatrabari
DHAKA, Aug 21, 2018 (BSS) – Police on Monday night arrested two drug
peddlers along with 20,000 pieces of contraband yaba pills from the capital’s
Jatrabari area.
A squad of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of Dhaka
Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested Wahidul Islam, 24, and Saiful Islam, 27,
from Rayerbagh area under Jatrabari Police Station around 11:15pm on Monday,
said an official release.
They seized 20,000 pieces of yaba tablets from their possessions. A case
was lodged against the arrestees with respective police station.
