Workers Party urges to preserve quota in public services
DHAKA, Aug 19, 2018 (BSS) – The Workers Party of Bangladesh today urged the government to preserve the quota for disable, ethnic minority groups, women and freedom fighters in the government services, said a party release here today.
“The party does not support the recommendation which has already been made by the committee led by the cabinet secretary to abolish the quota for the backward people,” said the party polit bureau in a statement.
“We hope that the government will take initiative to preserve quota for backward people along with the merit,” it said.
