57 doping gang men held in capital
DHAKA, Aug 18, 2018 (BSS) – Detective Branch (DB) of police in separate
raids arrested 57 ogyan party (dope gang) men from different parts of the
capital on Friday.
Separate team of DB of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested seven of
them from Shyampur and Jurain, 31 from Shahbagh, seven from Sayedabad, and 12
from New Market areas of the capital, deputy commissioner of DMP Abdul Baten
told a press briefing held at the media centre here.
They recovered 553 pieces of seductive tablets, seven containers of balm
and seven bottles of water mixed with poison from their possession.
Legal action was taken to this end.
