Perpetrators could not kill Bangabandhu’s ideology: Mozammel
GAZIPUR, Aug 17, 2018 (BSS) – Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque today said though the perpetrators of the August 15 carnage assassinated Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, they could not kill his philosophy and ideology.
He said this while addressing a discussion marking the National Mourning Day at the Mouchak bus-stand at Kaliakair in the district, said a press release.
The minister said the incumbent government under the leadership of Bangabandhu’s daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working relentlessly to materialize the dream of the Father of the Nation to build Sonar Bangla.
But, Mozammel Haque, said the anti-liberation forces, who perpetrated Bangabandhu assassination, are still hatching conspiracies at home and abroad against the family members of Bangabandhu and Bangladesh.
He said the conspirators would not be successful to thwart the development pace of the country.
The minister if the country can be established as Sonar Bangla, the debt of blood of Bangabandhu would be paid a little bit.
He said the government is continuing its efforts to bring back the convicted killers of Bangabandhu.
Awami League leaders of Gazipur district unit and Kaliakair upazila unit attended the discussion.
