YABA-RECOVERY-SEIZURE
6 held with 2.7 lakh yaba in capital
DHAKA, Aug 16, 2018 (BSS)-Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested six drug peddlers along with 2.07 lakh yaba tablets from the capital’s Elephant Road area on Wednesday night.
The arrestees were identified as Md Zahir Ahmed alias Moulvi Zahir, 60, of Teknaf Cox’s Bazar, Md Faisal Ahmed, 31, Sanjoy Chandra Halder,20, Md Miraj Uddin Nishan, 21, Md Toufiqul Islam alias Sunny, 21, Md Mominul and Alam alias Momin,30.
The estimated value of the seized yaba is Taka 16.64 lakh, said an official release.
A case was lodged against the arrestees.
