Inu rules out any compromise with BNP-Jamaat

DHAKA, Aug 14, 2018 (BSS) – Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu today
ruled out any compromise or discussion with the BNP, Jamaat and its leader
Khaleda Zia as they were the patrons of Bangabandhu’s killers.

“They should be sent to exile to ensure the security of the state,” the
minister said while addressing discussion at Shahid Colonel Taher auditorium
at Bangabandhu Avenue marking the 43rd martyrdom anniversary of Bangabandhu
and the National Mourning Day.

“No compromise or discussion can be held with these evil forces like BNP-
Jamaat and Khaleda Zia who gave support to the politics of Bangabandhu’s
killers …. the forces should not be supported for the interest of
democracy,” said the minister who is also president of one faction of Jatiya
Samajtantrik Dal (JSD).

BNP-Jamaat subsequently were involved in the evil politics like conspiracy
and killing during the post 1975 period, Inu said, adding they entertained
Bangabandhu’s killers with observing fake birthday of Khaleda Zia on August
15.

The attempt to murder Sheikh Hasina on August 21, unleash of militancy as
well as terrorism, arson attacks on country’s people, impeding the trial of
war crimes and conspiracy to oust the elected government are their evil
works, the minister noted.

Chaired by Dhaka city JSD Coordinator Mir Hossain Akhter, the function was
also addressed, among others, by JSD General Secretary Shirin Akhter MP,
Standing committee member Advocate Shah Zikrul Ahmed, Nurul Akhter, vice-
president Shafi Uddin Mollah and Dhaka city (east) JSD general secretary AKM
Shah Alam.
